Whilst browsing the blogosphere on all things NAV I came across this interesting blog entry:

NAV 2009 has a load of KPIs and Charts out of the box, but Phil and I are frequently asked by our partners how to add more charts and KPIs.
A word of warning, you will need to have access to SQL Server 2005 knowledge and in particular how to access and manipulate BLOB data as the KPIs and charts are controlled via XML strings.
