==What Is Navision?==

Navision is the former name of the product now known as Dynamics NAV. The product (and company) were purchased by Microsoft, and along with Great Plains and Axapta form the core of the Microsoft Dynamics ERP packages.

Navision's aim was always to be a very simple but powerful business system, that handles Accounting (G/L), Sales, Purchasing Inventory and Jobs. Over the years since its introduction in 1987, it has added advanced Warehouse management, Agile Manufacturing, Human resources, Service Management, and much more functionality, as well as advanced integration with other products such as Outlook, Word and Excel.
