QUALITY MANAGEMENT MODULE is a new module of AX 2009.
  1. QUALITY CONTROL: This is to define all the testing requirements
    1. Specification of test instruments used to perform the test.
    2. Identify testing area where the tests are held.
    3. Definition of test specifications that determine if test items meet the standards of quality.
    4. Creation of quality order.
    5. Certificates of analysis.
  2. QUALITY MANAGEMENT:
    1. Management of non conforming products and items.
    2. Tracking and resolution of customer and vendor problems.
This is a copy of recorded task in AX for setting up and create a quality order.
1. Click Area Page node: Inventory management -> Setup -> Quality control -> Test areas.
Form name: Test areas

2. Create a new record in the Test areas form.
3. Change Test area from '' to 'LCDArea'.
4. Change Description from '' to 'LCD Area'.
5. Save the record in the Test areas form.
6. Close the Test areas form.
7. Click Area Page node: Inventory management -> Setup -> Quality control -> Test instruments.
Form name: Test instruments

8. Create a new record in the Test instruments form.
9. Change Test instrument from '' to 'ContrastIns'.
10. Change Test area from '' to 'LCDArea'.
11. Change Description from '' to 'Contrast testing instrument'.
12. Create a new record in the Test instruments form.
13. Change Unit from '' to 'Option'.
14. Change Test instrument from '' to 'LCDColourIns'.
15. Change Test area from '' to 'LCDArea'.
16. Change Description from '' to 'LCD colour testing instrument'.
17. Change Unit from '' to 'Option'.
18. Save the record in the Test instruments form.
19. Switch to the General tab on the Test instruments form.

20. Close the Test instruments form.
21. Click Area Page node: Inventory management -> Setup -> Quality control -> Tests.
Form name: Tests

22. Create a new record in the Tests form.
23. Change Test from 'Enclososure mesuring' to ''.
24. Change Test from '' to 'LCDTest'.
25. Change Description from '' to 'LCD Test'.
26. Change Type from 'Fraction' to 'Option'.
27. Change Test instrument from '' to 'ContrastIns'.
28. Change Test from 'LCDTest' to 'LCDContrastTest'.
29. Switch to the General tab on the Tests form.

30. Switch to the Overview tab on the Tests form.

31. Create a new record in the Tests form.
32. Change Test from 'LCDContrastTest' to ''.
33. Change Test from '' to 'LCD'.
34. Change Test from 'LCD' to 'LCDColourTest'.
35. Change Description from '' to 'LCD Colour Test'.
36. Change Type from 'Fraction' to 'Option'.
37. Change Test instrument from '' to 'LCDColourIns'.
38. Save the record in the Tests form.
39. Switch to the General tab on the Tests form.

40. Close the Tests form.
41. Click Area Page node: Inventory management -> Setup -> Quality control -> Test variables.
Form name: Test variables

42. Make sure the selection is changed in table Test variables to:

SpeakerVolumne
Speaker Volume
43. Create a new record in the Test variables form.
44. Change Variable from '' to 'LCDContrast'.
45. Change Description from '' to 'LCD Contrast'.
46. Switch to the General tab on the Test variables form.

47. Click the Outcomes button.
Form name: Test variable outcomes

48. Create a new record in the Test variable outcomes form.
49. Change Description from '' to 'Accepted'.
50. Change Outcome status from 'Fail' to 'Pass'.
51. Create a new record in the Test variable outcomes form.
52. Change Outcome from '' to 'TooLow'.
53. Change Description from '' to 'Too low'.
54. Make sure the selection is changed in table Test variable outcomes to:

Too low
Fail
LCDContrast
55. Close the Test variable outcomes form.
56. Switch to the Overview tab on the Test variables form.

57. Create a new record in the Test variables form.
58. Change Variable from '' to 'LCDColour'.
59. Change Description from '' to 'LCD Colour'.
60. Click the Outcomes button.
Form name: Test variable outcomes

61. Create a new record in the Test variable outcomes form.
62. Create a new record in the Test variable outcomes form.
63. Change Outcome from '' to 'Accepted'.
64. Change Description from '' to 'Accepted'.
65. Change Outcome status from 'Fail' to 'Pass'.
66. Create a new record in the Test variable outcomes form.
67. Change Outcome from '' to 'TooLow'.
68. Change Outcome from 'TooLow' to 'Fail'.
69. Change Description from '' to 'Fail'.
70. Make sure the selection is changed in table Test variable outcomes to:

71. Close the Test variable outcomes form.
72. Close the Test variables form.
73. Click Area Page node: Inventory management -> Setup -> Quality control -> Item sampling.
Form name: Item sampling

74. Make sure the selection is changed in table Item sampling to:

Percent
100.00
75. Close the Item sampling form.
76. Click Area Page node: Inventory management -> Setup -> Quality control -> Test groups.
Form name: Test groups

77. Create a new record in the Test groups form.
78. Change Test group from '' to 'LCDGRoup'.
79. Change Description from '' to 'LCD test group'.
80. Change Acceptable quality level from '0.00' to '100.00'.
81. Change Item sampling from '' to 'All'.
82. Create a new record in the Test groups form.
83. Create a new record in the Test groups form.
84. Change Sequence number from '0' to '10'.
85. Change Test from '' to 'LCDContrastTest'.
86. Switch to the General tab on the Test groups form.

87. Change Action on failure from 'Fail' to 'Accept'.
88. Switch to the Test tab on the Test groups form.

89. Change Variable from '' to 'LCDContrast'.
90. Change Default outcome from '' to 'Accepted'.
91. Switch to the General tab on the Test groups form.

92. Change Action on failure from 'Accept' to 'Fail'.
93. Switch to the Test tab on the Test groups form.
